Skin Treatments with IPL/BBL
Photorejuvenation is a new method of skin rejuvenation. The skin rejuvenation technique is performed here using the IPL system (Intense Pulsed Light, Broad Band Light, flash lamp) and is an additional treatment option to rejuvenate aging skin.
The treatment principle is the same as with laser technology, namely the use of light energy to remove specific skin structures, such as dilated vessels, pigmentation spots, etc. Unlike lasers, which each use only a single wavelength and therefore can only treat a single target, intense pulsed light uses a spectrum of multiple wavelengths. This allows for the treatment of multiple skin issues in the same session. Short wavelengths remove pigmentation spots, medium wavelengths target blood vessels, and longer wavelengths stimulate collagen production.
Skin spots and wrinkles are reduced, and all light-induced skin damage is improved. Additionally, skin pores are refined, and the elastic fibers of the connective tissue are strengthened.
Typically, 2-6 sessions at intervals of 2-4 weeks are required to achieve optimal results for most skin concerns.
Immediately after the treatment, redness may occur. This redness usually disappears within a few hours. In most cases, makeup can be applied immediately, and daily activities can be resumed on the same day.
Applications:
- Pigmentation disorders, age/sun spots
- Skin redness, rosacea, and couperose
- Stimulation of new collagen and elastin production
- General improvement of skin texture
- Acne treatment
